Thank you for considering making a donation to the Moderate Party of RI Political Action Committee (PAC). Your donation will be put to good use in helping the Moderate Party of Rhode Island get its message out to the public, as well as supporting candidates for the Rhode Island General Assembly who will support the Moderate Party’s platform objectives. We will endorse any candidate, regardless of party affiliation, who will make our legislative priorities his or her own priorities as well.
As a PAC, we have some limitations on how much can be donated to the PAC, as well as how much money can be spent by the PAC. There is a $1,000 donation limitation per person for monies paid into the PAC. There is a limitation of $1,000 that the PAC can pay out to any one candidate. Additionally, there is a $25,000 cap on monies that the PAC can spend in any one election year.
It is an unfortunate aspect of our political process that political influence is directly related to financial backing. Your donation today will help to bring better balance to our legislature tomorrow.
